  1. Hi,

We will still have a quiz this week even though the midterm is this week also right?

Just wanted to make sure, thanks! : )

  3. some of us were just wondering if the webwork would be given a later due date due to the first midterm being the next day. it takes a while for webworks to be completed. sometimes our professor last quarter would allow extra time so we can absolutely focus on studying and practicing for the exams. it would be really great!

  4. You make a compelling argument. I’ll push the due date to Monday. But, don’t let this prevent you from getting the second webwork assignment done on time.

  5. If we are able to finish these recommended problems rather easily… is it safe to say that we will most likely do well on the midterm tomorrow?

  6. I wouldn’t want to speculate on such matters. Do you suspect I would recommend problems in order to distract you from what will actually be on the midterm?

  7. I suppose that’s a college professor’s way of saying, “most likely”.

  8. It seems to me that some of the problems in Chapter 6 require a graphing calculator to see which function is on top and which one is on the bottom. Am I wrong? Will this be the case for the midterm?

  9. If I assigned any of those, it was a mistake on my part. For any kind of problem like that on the midterm you’ll be able to figure out which function’s on top and which is on the bottom.

  11. Best case Wednesday. Mediocre case Friday. Worst case Monday.

  12. Since you extended the webworks until Monday, does that mean that it is still due by ll p.m that day?

  13. Yes it does.

  14. Will you be handing out the midterms tomorrow? Because if you are, I don’t think I will be able to make tomorrow’s class due to family issues due to the recent fires. If I am not able to make the class, how will I know my score?

  15. I’ll send out the scores. You can get the actual test some other time.
