Math 2D Spring 2008 Final exam information

The final exams for this course will be at the following times:

Lecture A: Monday June 9, 8-10am

Lecture B: Monday June 9, 10:30am-12:30pm

The final will be cumulative, with roughly half old stuff and half new stuff. You are allowed to use a scientific (non-graphing) calculator.

Here are the finals I gave last quarter:

finalexam-8am

finalexam-11am

Here are solutions to one of the exams:

sample solutions (see comment below for a correction)

Also, consult the course schedule for links to all of the different sections that we have covered.

Here is the youtube page with all of the videos I have made.

  1. Will you be posting up the solutions for the final as well like what you did with the midterms?

I understand you have different versions of the final but it you posted up the solutions for just one version, we could work off that to solve the others because the numbers are different in the tests but not the solution method. Thank you

  2. I can do that. At the same time, I don’t want students to get too focused on mastering just this exam. Use it as a gauge of how well you know the material and use it to figure out what things you don’t understand.

  3. Correction:
On question 2 in the sample solutions, the bounds should go from 0 to 2y on the inside integral, so the answer to the question is wrong. (Try and see if you can fix the mistake yourself.)
